If you’ve ever found yourself traveling down a Philippine road, you would have at least noticed several jeepneys. These jeepneys, commonly called jeep or dyip in the Philippines, are the main mode of public transportation in the country.
Everyday, millions of commuters all over the country rely on these highly customized versions of army jeeps left by American forces after World War II to get them to school, work, or wherever it is they intend to go.
Because of their ubiquity and the decades of service that they have provided to Filipinos,
