Kumusta!
Philippine Halo-halo is a blog originally intended to help people who are interested in learning Tagalog by giving some basic and conversational lessons in the language, but I thought it would be nice if I can also include some tidbits of Filipino culture in the blog since some of these tidbits would be covered while studying.
This is when the name, Philippine halo-halo came about. Halo-halo is a popular dessert in the Philippines made from shaved ice and a variety of different fruits and sweets.
Just like how its diverse set of ingredients blend together to make one, tasty, and filling whole — I hope the tidbits of information that you’ll learn from this blog will help you understand not just the Tagalog language, but also the Philippine culture in general.
